THE TOP 5 MOVIES WITH THE HOTTEST CELEBRITY NUDITY OF THE 20th CENTURY
These movies made this list for the following reasons: they are old school, mainstream movies, all came out before 1990. They don’t have the slick, oily porn-like quality of modern movie nudity (not that there’s anything wrong with that. I liked 'Wild Things' as much as the next guy), There is no silicone to be found here. Some were popular successes, some weren't.
5. STRIPES, 1981. The scene where the horrible Captain Stillman spies on the showering female soldiers was a real eye-opener at the time, and showed it all.
4. NAME OF THE ROSE, 1986. A sleeper to make the list, but anyone who has seen the scene where the unsuspecting Christian Slater is seduced by the peasant girl knows it is the hottest monk-loving scene you will ever lay your eyes on.
3. THE HOT SPOT, 1990. Don Johnson got to have both Virginia Madsen and Jennifer Connelly in this film noir. A lot of sweating and heavy breathing - a topless beach appearance by Ms. Connelly is the reason this one gets to number 3 on this list.
2. PARADISE, 1982. This “Blue Lagoon” rip-off starred Willie Ames, but more importantly, the wondrous Phoebe Cates in all her glory. Huge amount of tropical nudity, waterfall showering and tanned, writhing sex make this a landmark film that still does a big business in imported DVD sales. And for the ladies, Willie’s willie makes a floppy appearance.
1. FAST TIMES AT RIDGEMONT HIGH, 1982. Yes, Phoebe Cates makes her case for hottest woman of the twentieth century with appearances in both the top 2 films. Many 12-year old males woke up the next day with facial hair after watching the topless Cates emerge from the pool. Throw in a hot Jennifer Jason Leigh with a couple sex scenes and you have the winner. The fact is, Phoebe Cates’ pool scene is the single hottest moment in movie nudity of the twentieth century. Buy the DVD. You won't even have to use the remote for slow motion, because genius director, Penelope Spheris, already created the scene in slow motion.
